 Незаслуженно забытая классика тяжелого рока. Сейчас уже редкий, почти коллекционный раритет. Основанная в 1983-м году экс-гитаристом американской спид-металл формации Savage Grace Кеннетом Пауэллом группа подарила в свое время миру три прекрасных альбома, которые можно запросто отнести к разряду "классика на все времена". Итак, "Warning Of Danger" - один из этих трех альбомов. Вышел он в 1985 году, в эпоху расцвета хэви- металл и хард-рок музыки и, пожалуй, вобрал в себя лучшее, что было в то славное время. Чем же так хороша музыка Омен? Ответ на этот вопрос прост - боевым ритмом отличной ритм-секции (кстати,солирующий бас в отдельных моментах весьма напоминает игру басистов Iron Maiden и Manowar), "железной" и техничной гитарой и, конечно же, вокалом. Кстати, именно благодаря очень узнаваемому и необычному вокалу Кимболла (R.I.P.) сразу можно определить группу, это своеобразная визитная карточка коллектива. Варьирующийся от красивого и мягкого до хрипловатого голос надолго останется в памяти металхэдов. Не буду перечислять все треки, но отмечу, что все очень сильны (в том числе инструментальные композиции "V.B.P." и "Premonition", что бывает не так уж и часто у подобных групп) и органично совмещены между собой. Мои личные фавориты - боевой среднетемповый "March On", мелодичный хэви-металл номер "Don't Fear The Night", выполненный в спид-металлическом ключе "Termination" и, конечно же, бриллиант всего альбома - последняя песня "Hell's Gate", сложная, мелодичная и в то же время очень отчаянная, мрачная. В общем и целом, великолепный качественный хэви-металл, действительно классика жанра. Ставлю 9, но 10 в уме. |
