FILTER's fifth studio album,
"The Trouble With Angels", sold around 6,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 63 on The Billboard 200 chart.
FILTER's previous CD, 2008's
"Anthems For The Damned", opened with 13,000 units to land at No. 42.
"The Trouble With Angels" was released on August 17, 2010 via
Rocket Science Ventures.
Produced by
Bob Marlette, the album's debut single,
"The Inevitable Relapse", features thundering chords and an isolated bass line that both conjure and modernize
FILTER's signature sound.
