The word "Senjyu(千手)" comes from "Senjyu-Sengen-Kannon(千手千眼観音)", A Japanese God that saves all mankind by its thousand hands and eyes. The album is a conceptual album based on a story Hayato has come up with, and each track represents certain emotion that the main character experiences through the story. The album is produced by Hayato with guest appearance from Travis Orbin (Sky Eats Airplane) performing drums in some tracks.
"It has been 2 years since I started working on tracks for this album, when Cyclamen was still my solo project. It was so personal that it only made sense for me to write the entire album because I just couldn't explain emotions I wanted to express in any way other than by music"
"Senjyu"'s release date is yet to be confirmed, however it will be released before the end of this year.
Dreamers 2010:
Initially released in early 2009, Cyclamen’s ‘Dreamers’ came about at a time when the band consisted only of multi-instrumentalist mastermind Hayato Imanishi, who created and performed everything on the three track release himself. With Cyclamen’s recent metamorphosis into a five-piece touring band, it seems like the perfect time to unveil a new take on the EP, ‘Dreamers 2010’, complete with contributions from the band’s new guitarists and Sky Eats Aeroplane’s renowned drummer Travis Orbin. Now replete with a deeper, more expansive range of nuance and melody, this EP is a reminder and celebration of the great strides that the band are making at present, and their power to both exhilarate and provoke contemplation. ‘Dreamers 2010’ will be a digital only release.
