The band started in late 2001 as Ancepsdea. In 2003 they changed their name twice: first to Sheroce and then to My Shined Fall, which played gothic rock. During 2004 the band withered, but returned in August 2005 as Beyond the Dream and became a trio when Otto joined the band.
